What's Up Sew World Vol. 2

Happy Friday sewing friends! Today I have the second installment of my new series of Sewing World updates. I see so many amazing things happening out there and I want to share them with all of you. If there's anything I missed, leave a comment and let me know.

New Pattern Launches & Happenings

The Lark Tee from Grainline Studio launched. It's a great basic t-shirt that is sure to become a go-to. I love the Linden Sweatshirt and I'm looking forward to trying out this one too.

Deer & Doe launched a new collection of patterns including a super simple dress shown above.

Art Gallery Fabrics has released a whole slew of gorgeous new fabrics and they're doing a canvas giveaway until Sept 22.

Gertie launched her new Gertie's New Fashion Sketchbook, a sketchbook with lots of vintage inspiration and real person croquis.

Fringe Association has proposed a Slow Fashion October. I'm so addicted to fast sewing, I'd love to try to slow down and finish the sweater I've been knitting for the last year.

Erica B is hosting the Amazing Coat Sew Along. If I lived in a place cold enough to need a coat, I'd definitely join in.

UPDATE: Pattern Anthology released the Unbiased Collection and it's on sale until Oct. 2. The collection of 4 patterns are sized for ladies with a bust size of 30-53". Hooray!

Imagine Gnats has announced Selfish Sewing Week Fall 2015 will run September 28 – October 3. I'll be participating as one of the IndieSew guest bloggers and it's sure to be a whole lot of fun. Go check out the lineup and get your free printable planning calendar.
