1,000 Clever Sewing Shortcuts & Tips by Deepika Prakash is exactly what it appears to be – a book of tips and shortcuts for all stages of the sewing process. The book is formatted in chapters with lists of numbered quotes, many of them from PatternReview.com.
There are a lot of great tips and a few diagrams to assist along the way. The book is a little dry but very helpful. I would recommend trying to read through as soon as you get the book because there might be solutions or timesavers for problems you never you knew you had. Then, refer back when you encounter a specific problem. It's not the be all end all of sewing books but it provides some useful advice.
