Today, I’m very excited to announce the launch of the Dana Jumpsuit sewing pattern. This is my most complicated pattern to date and I’m so excited to share it with you. The Dana features a dramatic waist tie that creates subtle shaping while maintaining ultimate comfort. Multiple testers (as well as myself!) dubbed it secret pajamas.
A lot of the time I feel like a jumpsuit is a one trick pony, so I’ve been really pleased to discover how versatile this one is. Depending on the fabric and view, you can make an elegant evening jumpsuit or a fun summer romper. I’m in the process of making a holiday party Dana jumpsuit and I can’t wait to share it with you.
The pattern comes with two views, a pants length and a shorts length and the option of a curved back neck or v-shaped back neck. There are 17 sizes included, for bust and hip measurements of 32-58 inches (81-147 cm). Watch the video below for all the details and to see the different views in action.
Additionally, I’m offering a video sewalong course to accompany the pattern. This course is perfect for the beginning sewist who wants to take their skills to the next level and make a jumpsuit in the process. This course is packed with skills and techniques that can be applied to future projects, making a great investment for yourself. Learn more about the course and its contents here.
I will also have a resources page for this pattern with a bunch of my existing free tutorials that are helpful for sewing this pattern. For a full step-by-step class though, you’ll want to check out the online course.
The pattern and ecourse are currently marked 15% off until Wednesday, December 11, 2019, midnight Pacific time. So head over to the shop to snatch them up and make yourself a fun, versatile jumpsuit or two.
